The 24th Steiner Literature and Media Week had a very varied program with readings, cabaret and music.
A special highlight was the matinee on Sunday with cheerful verses by Ringelnatz and Morgenstern, which were performed with musical accompaniment (piano and violin). (See cover picture)
The students were so captivated by Peter Grandl’s reading that you could have heard a pin drop, it was so quiet in the hall.
Prof. Dr. Heribert Prantl was a guest in Stein with his book “Winning peace – unlearning violence”. He made a passionate plea for a culture of peace – in the knowledge that the path to peace is not a summer stroll, but can be a hell of a ride.
The highlight for the pupils was the performance by the group “Cubaboarisch 2.0”, whose lively rhythms from Cuba and local Bavarian folk music kept everyone on the edge of their seats. The atmosphere was exuberant!
Both cabaret evenings, the first with Michael Altinger and the last with Chris Böttcher, were very successful.
In general, the 24th Literature and Media Week was once again a complete success.
