On Friday, we left Stein at 7:00 a.m. for our skiing weekend in Obertauern. After the journey, we arrived at the ski resort and spent the day on the slopes with short breaks until around 3:00 pm. We then checked into the hotel. At 8 p.m. we went into town together, where we had dinner. Afterwards, we ended the evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
On Saturday, we had breakfast together at the hotel at 8:00 am. At 9:00 am we were back on the slopes, where we skied until 4:00 pm. We spent the whole day with Marcus Koch, his wife and principal Veronika Koch and Sebastian Wieser from Altstein. Mr. Koch gave us lots of helpful tips on skiing and improved us when necessary. In the evening, we went out to eat together again and then ended the day in a hut near the hotel.
On the last day, we also set off skiing at 9:00 am. The students in Mr. Markus Koch’s Sport and Society class all successfully passed a short exam. At around 12:00 noon, we headed back down into the valley and then made our way back to Stein.
All in all, the skiing weekend in Obertauern was a wonderful and eventful time. In addition to the sporting part, it was also a lot of fun to spend the evenings together and spend time together as a group.
